Triumph Tiger 800 XCA launched at Rs. 15.17 lakh

Triumph has launched the Tiger 800 XCA in India. The adventure bike is priced at Rs. 15,16,700 (ex-showroom).

According to Triumph, the new 800 XCA comes with over 200 chassis and engine upgrades. The Tiger 800 XCA is based on a tubular steel trellis frame. It has a wheelbase of 1,545 mm and is 805 mm wide. The bike measures 1,390 mm in height and the seat height can be adjusted between 840-860 mm. It weighs 208 kg (dry weight) and comes with a 19-litre fuel tank.

The bike has all-LED headlights with LED daytime running lights and a windscreen. It comes with a 5.0-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster and backlit buttons. It has cruise control and 6 riding modes - Road, Off-road, Off-Road Pro, Sport, Track and Rider-Customisable.

The Tiger 800 XCA is powered by an 800cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 94 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 79 Nm of torque @ 8,050 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a shorter ratio first gear. It also gets a lighter exhaust system.

The bike comes with 43 mm upside down forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. It features twin 305 mm discs at the front with 2-piston Brembo calipers and a single 255 mm disc brake at the rear with a single piston Nissin caliper. Switchable ABS comes as standard.
