Triumph Tiger 900 teased; bookings open

The Triumph Tiger 900 has been teased on the company's Instagram page. It is believed that some dealers have started accepting bookings and that the bike could be launched in June 2020.

The Tiger 900 is expected to be imported via the completely knocked down (CKD) route. It is likely to be offered in three variants - GT Pro, Rally and Rally Pro. The bike has twin LED headlights, an adjustable windscreen, and a 7-inch instrument panel that offers Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

The bike is powered by an 888cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 94 BHP @ 8,750 rpm and 87 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has five riding modes - Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road and Rider. The Rally Pro variant gets an additional mode which turns off the ABS and traction control.
