Tata Motors recently launched the GenX Nano in India (click here to read report). The car features cosmetic and structural changes as well as a new automated manual transmission, which makes it easier to drive in traffic and an openable hatch with additional boot space, which gives it a dose of practicality. The car is also equipped with features such as air-conditioning, Bluetooth audio with four speakers and power steering.

Tata Motors has also introduced a range of accessories with which, it hopes to make the car more attractive to the urban youth (click here to read report). However, this is not where Tata Motors is stopping at. It has bigger plans for the little car.

In the pipeline is a turbocharged version of the Nano! The company is aiming to give the car a more sporty inclination. It believes that passionate car lovers would definitely enjoy having one.

With more and more additions to the Nano's list of features, Tata Motors seems to be leaving no stone unturned in trying to wash off the cheap car image that is associated with the Nano.
