TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS launched at Rs. 1.07 lakh

TVS has launched the Apache RTR 200 4V with dual-channel ABS. It also comes with Rear Wheel Lift-off Protection (RLP) control that helps detect and recover from wheel lock. The bike is priced at Rs. 1,07,485 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Apache RTR 200 4V with ABS is based on a double cradle split frame. It measures 2,050 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1,105 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1,353 mm and the seat height is set at 800 mm. The kerb weight of the bike is 149 kg and it comes with a 12-litre fuel tank.

In terms of styling, the new RTR 200 4V ABS is identical to the non-ABS version. It gets a dual-tone front fender with an ABS decal on the right hand side, telescopic front forks finished in gold and a front cowl which houses a clear lens headlamp with twin-LED position lamps and a digital instrument cluster. The fuel tank has 'Apache' badges and RTR decals. The engine, crankcase and side-mounted exhaust muffler are finished in black. The bike has a split seat and it rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels.

The engine powering the RTR 200 4V ABS is the similar to the one offered on the non-ABS model. The 197.75 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine produces 20.2 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and a torque of 18.1 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. TVS claims that the RTR 200 4V can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 3.95 seconds and has a top speed of 127 km/h. The 270-mm front and 240-mm rear petal type discs come equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The Apache RTR 200 4V ABS is offered in two colour options - white and black.
