TVS forays into Singapore; launches its Apache range

The newly inaugurated ‘Experience Centre’ will showcase both commuter and premium segment bikes.

TVS Motor Company has announced its entry into the Singapore market. The bike maker has partnered with Motorsport Pte Ltd., to offer its Apache range of bikes in the island nation.

Motorsport Pte Ltd will be the brand’s official distributor in Singapore. It currently operates 6 retail outlets and has eight warehouses across the country. The newly inaugurated ‘Experience Centre’ will showcase both commuter and premium segment bikes.

In addition to the Apache series, TVS will also offer its flagship Apache RR310 in Singapore. The bike shares its underpinnings with the BMW G 310 RR and is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 34 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm @ 7,700 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a race-tuned slipper clutch.
