TVS to invest GBP 100 million in Norton Motorcycles

Norton is gearing up to launch the re-engineered V4 SSV and 961 Commando models.

The TVS Motor Company has announced an additional investment of GBP 100 million in UK-based Norton Motorcycles.

According to the company, the investment will be towards electrification, cutting edge technology, world-class vehicles, manufacturing, sustainability & the future of mobility. This is expected to create 250-300 direct jobs over the next 3 years and another 500-800 indirect jobs across the supply chain.

Norton is gearing up to launch the re-engineered V4 SSV and 961 Commando models. The bike maker also plans to introduce a range of products for the global market.

TVS acquired the iconic British motorcycle maker in April 2020. The company has recently opened its new manufacturing facility in Solihull, West Midlands.
