Point S has entered into an agreement with three regional partners who will be covering the aforementioned 5 states. The company also has plans to expand into more states in the near future.
More than 25 stores will be converted to Point S outlets by the end of 2017. Additionally by 2020, over 100 sales outlets will be setup in the initial phase across the 5 states. The company is also in the process of setting up ‘Point S India’ – an Indian subsidiary to coordinate and support its Indian operations.
According to Fabien Bouquet – International CEO of Point S, although the car equipment ratio in India is among the lowest in the world (20 cars per 1,000 people), it is on a growing trend. It is estimated that over the next 5 years, the tyre market in the country will grow by 10% each year.
