A Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has been spotted testing in Spain. The test bike appears to be an updated version of the cruiser, which could be introduced in the near future.
While the Super Meteor 650 test mule looks similar to the current model, reports suggest that a retuned suspension could be in the offing as part of the update. The spy images do reveal what appears to be some kind of testing device attached to the front fork.
The other interesting bit of kit on this test bike is the digital display mounted on top of the LED headlamp. It looks like the same TFT display that is available on the Himalayan 450.
Apart from the suspension, the new Super Meteor 650 is expected to be mechanically identical to the current model. It will be powered by the same 648cc twin-cylinder engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
