Updated Volkswagen Polo spied

Earlier this month, we had reported that Volkswagen is gearing up to give the Polo hatchback some additional features in India. Now, the car has been spotted.

The Trendline trim level (base variant) gets ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators. The Comfortline (mid variant) adds a cooled glovebox and the Highline (top variant) gets all the features of the Comfortline along with electrically foldable door mirrors and cruise control. Volkswagen has not deleted ay features from the Polo.

The GT TSI and GT TDI variants also get all the added features.

The updated Polo uses the same engines and transmissions as the outgoing model.

Petrol

• 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, 74 BHP, 110 Nm, 5-speed manual transmission
• 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, 103 BHP, 175 Nm, 7-speed DSG automatic transmission

Diesel

• 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, 89 BHP, 230 Nm, 5-speed manual transmission
• 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, 103 BHP, 250 Nm, 5-speed manual transmission

According to a report on Indian Cars Bikes, there is no change in the price of the Polo.
