Used 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia for sale at Rs. 2.25 crore

A used 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia is on sale in Kolkata at an asking price of Rs. 2.25 crores.

The supercar, which has run 13,300 km, is finished in a dual-tone shade of white with a black roof. It also has black wheels with yellow brake calipers and a black fuel filler lid. The car also has brown interiors and a JBL sound system. It has been registered in Chandigarh.

The name 458 comes from the engine powering the car. It is a 4.5-litre 90-degree V8 engine producing 562 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. This engine has been voted the “Best Performance Engine” and “Best Engine Above 4 Litres” at the International Engine of the Year Awards. It is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0-100 km/h time of the car is claimed to be 3.4 seconds and the top speed is said to be more than 325 km/h.

The interior of the 458 is said to have been designed using inputs from former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher. It gets a steering wheel which has many controls on it like the indicator and headlight controls and drive mode switch. These are normally located on the dashboard or on the stalks.

Ferrari claims that the 458 Italia has won more than 30 international awards.
