Hero MotoCorp is all set to introduce the Vida VX2 on July 1. Ahead of its launch, the company has announced that the e-scooter will be offered with a battery subscription service.
According to the bike maker, the ‘pay-as-you-go’ ownership model will significantly reduce the upfront ownership cost, making electric mobility more affordable and accessible to a wider customer base. Customers can choose from flexible subscription plans depending on their daily or monthly budget and usage.
Hero says that the BaaS subscription model will allow customers to finance the scooter chassis and battery separately. The subscription plans and pricing will be revealed on July 1, 2025.
At launch, the Vida VX2 electric scooter is expected to be offered with two battery options: 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh. The base variant will get a single removable battery, while the 3.4 kWh version will get dual battery packs with more than 100 km of range.
