VinFast VF7 and VF9 electric SUVs to debut at Auto Expo

The VinFast VF7 is a 5-seater crossover, while the VF9 is a larger 3-row SUV.

Vietnam-based EV maker VinFast will be showcasing two electric SUVs at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo – the VF7 and VF9.

The VinFast VF7 is a 5-seater SUV that comes in two variants: Eco and Plus. While the 'Eco' trim has a single electric motor producing 201 BHP and 310 Nm, the latter comes with dual motors with a combined output of 349 BHP and 500 Nm. 

Both variants of the VF7 come with a 75.3 kWh battery pack. The Eco variant has a range of 450 km, while the Plus variant can cover 431 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).

The VinFast VF9 is a larger 3-row SUV that offers seating for up to 7 passengers. It too is available in two variants: Eco and Plus. Both variants are offered with a 123 kWh battery with a range of 531 km and 468 km, respectively.

Both variants of the VF9 are powered by dual electric motors producing 396 BHP and 620 Nm. VinFast claims the SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.63 seconds, while its top speed is pegged at 200 km/h.
