Volkswagen reveals 2021 Tiguan facelift for India

Volkswagen has revealed the 2021 Tiguan facelift. The 5-seater SUV will be making its return to the Indian market later this year.

The 2021 Tiguan gets a few cosmetic updates which include a redesigned front fascia. The SUV gets sleeker looking twin-pod LED headlights, a redesigned grille and a new front bumper. The rear of the car still features L-shaped tail lamp clusters with the Tiguan lettering in the centre. The SUV rides on new design 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Tiguan comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 3-zone automatic climate control which can be controlled using the touchscreen, 8-way power adjustable driver's seat, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and connected car features.

The 2021 Tiguan will be offered with a new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. In the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace, this engine puts out 187 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
