Volkswagen Taigun facelift spied in Brazil

We can expect Volkswagen to introduce similar updates on the Taigun in India.

Volkswagen has started road trials of the Taigun facelift. The test mule was spotted in Brazil, where it is sold as the T-Cross.

The spy images suggest that the Taigun is set to receive a few cosmetic changes to the front end. The Brazil-spec crossover seen here appears to have a redesigned grille, headlamps and fog lamps. The test car has a heavily camouflaged rear end, which suggests that VW may have made some changes to the rear as well.

We can expect Volkswagen to introduce similar updates on the Taigun in India. However, the timeline for the same is still unclear.

The SUV is expected to carry forward the same set of engines, though. At present, the car is offered with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, with a choice of manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
