Volkswagen Taigun interiors revealed

The clean layout of the dashboard is similar to what we've seen in recent VW Group cars.

The production-spec Volkswagen Taigun was revealed on March 31, 2021. Now, the carmaker has released a digital rendering showing its interior.

Just like the concept, the production-spec Taigun also gets a dual-tone interior. The clean layout of the dashboard is similar to what we've seen in recent VW Group cars.

The car has a flat-bottom steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. The centre console houses a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The car is also equipped with features such as automatic climate control and wireless charging.

The Taigun will be offered with a choice of two turbo-petrol engines. These include a 1.0-litre TSI motor rated at 113 BHP / 175 Nm and a 1.5-litre unit producing 148 BHP / 250 Nm. Both engines will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.0L engine will get an optional 6-speed automatic, while the 1.5L engine will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option.
