The XC40 Recharge has been listed on the Volvo's official website with a price tag of Rs. 75 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Volvo XC40 Recharge electric SUV has been spotted completely undisguised ahead of its official launch.

Volvo had started accepting bookings for the XC40 Recharge in 2021. Recently, the electric SUV was listed on the brand's official website with a price tag of Rs. 75 lakh (ex-showroom).

The XC40 Recharge looks similar to the regular XC40. It has the same body shell, except for the plastic panel that covers the front grille.

Inside, the SUV gets a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a vertically oriented touchscreen infotainment system. The EV also gets a host of safety features including a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alert and lane-keep assist; among others.

The XC40 Recharge uses a 78 kWh battery pack that powers two electric motors. The combined output is 402 BHP and 660 Nm. Volvo claims that the car does 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, while its top speed is limited to 180 km/h. The SUV can cover 418 km on a single charge.
