Sunday activity : Spent the late morning and afternoon elbow-greasing the Jimny. The so called small car is a 'big' task to wash and polish at home.
Future BHPian in the making my 6 year old kiddo did his best to bring back the show-room like shine.
I sprayed water for the first time on the engine bay. I was pretty skeptical but the Jimny is supposed to handle mud and slush. A bucket of tap water shouldn't be a concern.
The GFX plastic mats proved to be a nice value addition to the car. They are really simple to clean and maintain. Just wiping off with a damp cloth does the job.
The finale was through a back-breaking session of spray ceramic wax application. The Turtle Wax actually works. The deep gloss and formation of an instant hydrophobic layer is noticeable. The hardest part was to do the roof. The after-market side steps really helped there.
