Wipro, Excelfore partner for vehicle connectivity solutions

Wipro has entered into a partnership with Excelfore - a solution provider for smart mobility networks, to offer connectivity solutions for smart and autonomous vehicles.

This partnership will combine Excelfore's solutions with Wipro's global systems integration and services to offer connected car solutions to OEMs and equipment makers. As part of the agreement, the two companies will offer scalable Ethernet AVB / TSN (Audio-Video Bridging / Time-Sensitive Networking) and secure Firmware / Software Over-the-Air (F/SOTA) update solutions to automotive manufacturers and smart mobility companies.

Wipro has also joined Excelfore as a member of the eSync Alliance, which establishes compatibility among various devices with common FOTA/SOTA, diagnostics and middleware.

The partnership will offer solutions based on networks, hardware in the vehicles, cloud services and mechanisms of rolling out updates to the vehicles.
