Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant, which recently entered the global EV segment with its new SU7 sedan, has managed to achieve a major production milestone.
As per reports, Xiaomi has just rolled out its 100,000th SU7 EV in just 230 days since its market launch. The flagship SU7 EV from Xiaomi arrived in markets in late 2023, receiving a staggering response with over 50,000 orders secured in just 27 minutes.
Xiaomi initially had a target of producing 60,000 units of the SU7 in 2024. However, the company had to bolster its production to keep up with the impressive demand generated. The company built 10,000 units of the SU7 within 32 days of launch. Now, in early November, the Chinese EV maker has reached the 100,000-unit milestone.
Xiaomi is now said to have revised its 2024 targets, aiming to achieve 120,000 units before the start of 2025.
The Xiaomi SU7 is available in three variants: Standard, Pro, & Max, with prices ranging from $29,000, and going up to $41,000. The company also unveiled a performance version called the SU7 Ultra, which will launch sometime in 2025.
