Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan showcased in India

Xiaomi has clarified that it has no plans to launch the SU7 electric sedan in India.

Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India. To mark the occasion, the company showcased its first electric car, the SU7, in India.

The Xiaomi SU7 is a four-door electric sedan that competes with the Tesla Model 3 in the global market. It is available in three variants – Standard, Pro, and Max, with prices starting at US$ 30,000. 

The Xiaomi SU7 is powered by dual electric motors having a combined output of 664 BHP and 838 Nm. The car is also expected to be capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds and reach a top speed of 265 km/h.

The SU7 uses a 101 kWh battery pack that is said to deliver a range of up to 800 km (CLTC cycle). It has ultra-fast charging capability, which adds 220 km of range in 5 minutes and 510 km of range in 15 minutes.

Xiaomi has clarified that it has no plans to launch the SU7 electric sedan in India any time soon.
