Swift Gets the Rainbow!!!

My Swift has always occupied a special place in my heart because its My First car and moreover its the first car that i have modded!!! The ICE of the car is also very special because i drive the car daily a minimum of 100 Kms. So i spend nearly 4 hours in my car everyday!!!

So what i need is clean and good sounding system!!! My Earlier setup was

JVC AVX814 double din DVD HU
Hertz Energy ESK165 Front Compos
Hertz Energy ECX165 Rear Co-ac
Hertz Energy ES380 15" Sub (Sealed Box)
Kenwood 8401 4 channel Amp powering the Front Compos and Sub!!

The system sounded very clean and sub kicked loud and hard!! I was pretty much satisfied but there was one thing i always had a disliking for, That were the Energy Tweeters, The tweeters were very sharp and at high volumes they use to sound very Crisp!!! but today i finally got the one element corrected!!

I had auditioned Rainbow SLX compos with the help of gunbir and my first impression was wow!!! They are sounding much better!!! So finally decided to go for these Compos!!!

I removed the rear Co-ax as they were not amplified and were not producing enough sound to match the compos!!! Some Pics for the install!!

After the install was done i was pretty much impressed by how the compos were sounding, I had previously auditioned them on a Audison Amp so was a little shaky about my Kenwood but the Output delighted me, the compos sounded exactly the way i wanted, More Midbass!!!

I would like to thank Gunbir and Driven for helping me with my Install!!!

Oye! Congratulations on attaining the 7colours.

I've been thru the same and I understand how nice they sound. The SLX series is certainly very good value for money due to their warm, smooth response. Certain tracks gets to be applaused after they're played thru these speakers. I've myself discovered many details in my music which I had left unnoticed earlier.

What HU are you using? And what's the plan with the amp upgrade?

m4ugr8, if and when you decide to upgrade your amp, please let me be first in line to buy the 8401 off of you.

I haven't yet listened to an iPaul amp. Waiting for a setup here.
So, cannot comment on it now.

But according to what I've heard, they're some rocking amps.

As far as my ears know i think JVC Kw-AVX814 is very good HU. Why would one want to change that hehe and Hertz ES380 is one of the best sub i have heard till date.
