How To : make a HU Bluetooth enabled

I am not sure if it possible or not but I want to make my HU bluetooth enabled so that it can communicate with the mobile device. Any TBhpians using it, pls advice.

You cant make a non bluetooth HU into a bluetooth HU. The best option you have is to either buy a Bluetooth HU or get a handsfree car kit and connect it to your HU.

AFAIK there are some HU's that would let you connect a Bluetooth car kit so that it mutes the radio when the call comes in. Dont know if you can mod the HU to become bluetooth enabled

1> Get a Bluetooth enabled Head Unit similar to the link below

How much will it cost including installation charges ?

Enabling bluetooth on existing HU

There is an adapter available from Motorola using it you can enable any audio device bluetooth enable.

how come certain threads come to life after over a year just like they were started only yesterday ?

only that technology has changed & come a full circle since then. I am sure navdeep found his answers in this thread or elsewhere quite a long time ago.

One more thing he can try is that he can go to any dentist and paint it blue and put it inside the HU. Thus make it Bluetooth enabled.
