Come on, its a price of grand stand seats for to watch the F1, Here you get ot drive, Aquring the track for a day takes 7 digits, You need to only pay 5 digits for it. It is expensive but then what other choice do we have right now. Its about the experience

Re: Buddh Int'l Circuit Track Day for All - 19th Feb 2012

WOW..For enthusiasts in the area, it is a dream come true. For us down south in BLR, it is a very long haul!

It is expensive, but it is a F1 worthy track that is long - so you are likely to have a lot of open track [unless they cram a lot of drivers] without having to worry about getting stuffed at every corner.

Open track days can turn into squid-fests. I have been at a couple, and decided to just sit out an entire afternoon having seen bikes go down left, right and center. So, I think the price is justified if it is organized well with "quality" instruction.

Just a data point - Reputable track schools like ClassRides, or Star cost around 400USD per day. Open track days used to be as cheap as 175USD. Open track days are pretty good for experienced riders who are looking for a lot of track time. But for beginners, it is a no no.

I would have loved to do track days [on a bike] @ BIC - [although I not a fan of Tilke-domes]

For those who attend the session please share your experience - and have a fun filled and safe track day.

Krishna
