Yo!Yo Bykes Manufactured By INDUS heard some good stuff about it.
but out of curiosity - your cousin is only 15, not the age for an under 50cc license as well.. shouldnt you wait a year. unless electric bikes dont come under this law.

Also - a cycle is Great excercise!

Yo bikes has recently launched new model with better battery that you can run 500 kms after single charge. Do check it and Hero also launched 3 models but it starting from 22k.

tidzter> you can go through oct overdrive for the new electric scooter pic, i can definetly bet on the new electric scooter from TVS as its chassis is based on test and tried TVS scooty and the motor is from an Chinese with 800 watts power which is the highest in its catogory in India which gives it an advantage of max kms, speed, and pulling capacity even in inclines.

off topic please excuse me:man i know these bikes need no registration, nor license, but do they have a age limit at at least, i am just curious for i have seen little kid even around with 10yrs age riding these and i some how feel they should make a age limit for these bikes too, at least the person riding them should be in their teens?

my suggestion will be to stay away from e-bikes they are very expensive and are not very reliable almost all e-bikes comes from china and thay uses very low quality cycle parts my friend just bought hero e-bike for almost 28 k and know he is very upset with the quality and dealer response

hi,
Also, another aspect that we always tend to overlook is the replacement costs of the battery.
what I read some time ago was that the battries need to be replaced every18 -24 months, and have to be bought from the e-bike dealer only..thus are priced at a premium.

Before falling in for the 500kms for the cost of 1lt petrol, do factor in the costs of the battery...the pic wont be that rozy!

Regards,

Exactly, especially since they can attain good enough speed to seriously injure the rider as well as others on the road!

Isn't it a risky thing? How about some thieves using it at night. No sound, no registration nos and no way to track them? Plus how do you justify that it is indeed your bike amongst the ones parked in the parking?
