Been to this place after seeing a review on the Palio group. Mr. Paulo runs shop and have a couple of more guys to assist. Took the car for a noise from the engine bay and was diagnosed in 5 mins to be the clutch bearing.

Likes:

• Knowledgeable, Friendly & Honest (from my interaction)
• Not expensive
• Location, as I stay within the city
• Poulo & Sunil are Keralites and hence I could communicate easily.

Dislikes:

• Nothing as such

Location:

Near L&T Bridge, Powai. If you are coming from Andheri side, take the left right below the L&T Bridge and this is the second garage. If you come from Powai side, take the right under the bridge.

That was very useful information considering the state of FASS in Mumbai in the current times.
Going by the location, can this garage be found if we were to go towards Aarey Colony Road from JVLR?

I recently acquired a used Palio for local running, and have given it to Maithri Motors for mainly suspension and brake job.

I took my friend there couple of days back with a white Palio GTX, and saw a red Palio GTX there with TN registration and TBHP stickers. Is that yours swiftnfurious?

Yep! The car has seen minimal running in the last 3 months & last month I was on 2 weeks vacation leading to a complete ground time.

When I took it for a running after that, seems like a loose contact for the horn / some belts rubbing and it's quite annoying (leading to nasty stares from other motorists at signals). Have parked the car there for a check and the yearly service is up; so will be getting it done too. I should be there tomorrow (24 Sep, Saturday).

If you have got the job done, I guess we could expect a feedback report.

My 2016 yearly service details below.

Quick summary:

4 x 1L can of Shell HX 7 - 465 x 4 = 1860/- (you can get it cheaper from one seller on Amazon.in)
2 x 1L can of Castrol Radicool coolant - 300 x 2 = 600/-
1 x Oil filter = 164/- (same price as 99 rpm)

Total = 2450/- after discounts (from Gauri Sales Corporation)

1 x Airfilter = 280/- (MRP = 300/-, from Prem Motors)

Labour (Maithri Motors) = 300/-

Total = Rs. 3030/- (2450 + 280 + 300)

Nah, haven't got it back yet. Still awaiting just 1 part. Hopefully should get it this week.

My friend's GTX is also undergoing repair there (and I am planning to buy it from him soon ), should be done this week. Will post feedback after that.
