I have done long drives with 4 wheels, but this time wish to drive Honda Activa from Aurangabad to Nagpur. So require help / guidance from you.

1. Activa is around 6000 km run.
2. Wish to drive around last week of April (damn Peak of Summer)
3. Driving alone (in all probabilities).
4. Start time is NOT a constraint.
5. The preferred road is Via Mehekar - Karanja (Lad) - turning left & joining NH-6 somewhere near Talegaon/ Karanja (Ghatge) - Kondhali.

Dehydration, Sun Stroke, Heat Stroke are some of the things which would be of major concern as you are in a two wheeler.

And since you mention that you will be alone, this calls for a strict NO!

If at all, you still want to do the trip, make sure you carry some fruits like oranges and loads of water (20 liter can) and with multiple stops.

@Manu; I know that you have done this route 2-3 times. But why to drive a 2 wheeler that much? I mean you can book it in train. Dont do it in summer.

As Activa has 6 litrs tank, max it will go around 250-275 KM. You can fill her in Jalna, Mehekar. Also New Nagpur Bypass has less fuel station on mehekar side.

If you persist go then please start around 5 in the evening. Take night halt in Mehekar or karanja. Then start early morning towards nagpur. Also keep water and Glucon D, electral with you. Keep some onions in pocket (very old tradition), have white wind sheeter, so that hot air and sun light wont directly come in contact with your body. This might help to keep de hydration low.
