What would you do on your car's birthday?

Sounds silly/funny. But , have you ever given it a thought that we shall just not celebrate our birthday's but also our vehicle's?

What would one do on their car's birthday? Just feed in your answers in this thread and BTW, Feb 27th is my car's 2nd anniversary and I'm going to celebrate it (ofcourse I don't throw a party). I just washed it clean and will take it on a looooooooooong ride tomorrow. I will celebrate with my girl friend :P (yeah, I do have a girl friend).

Just reply in this thread with your car's birth date and what would you do on that special day!!!!

My Dad's Premier Padmini turned 19 this Feb 7th!! All we family members had a party dedicated to my Fiat in a resort!! Here are the pics.

My Fiat is just more than a car for me and my family.

nice pics arun!!!keep it up
shows kind of love people have with their rides!!
well my car(swift vxi) was born on 19th october 2007 and it has been a wonderful time (almost 2.5 years) with my baby. Sometimes shouting at it for the lack of low end grunt, sometimes loving it for the awesome ride.
I dont do anything special at her bday, maybe take her out for a long drive and clean and polish her.

@ Arun, that really shows your affection towards your car. Now I really feel like cutting a cake on my car's b'day too. You inspired me dude. I will definitely post the pics of the celebrations of my car's b'day in a couple of days. Let me first celebrate the b'day of my car

very apt question for the car lovers

I never thought about this before, now i am trying to think aloud.

My car will turn 1 year old in May. what all i can do ?

0. Ensure that the car is in working condition, serviced fully, insurance renewed
1. Get the car washed, cleaned inside out
2. Upgrade the Car perfume for sure
3. Buy the new accessories if possible (seat covers, etc)
4. fuel the tank fully
5. take the car on a long drive with all the family members
6. Read through the ownership thread on T-BHP
7. Read the road trip (using the car) travelogues posted on T-BHP
8. Ensure that we drive safe and car is not injured (dented)
9. Go through the photographs stored on the hard disk
10. Get some good moments (snaps) & memories of last one year and publish a small coffee table book (max 10 pages)

I am sure whether i will do everything said above, let me see.

hi arun1100 :

You are leading the way.. 19 years is a real long ownership
hats off to your father and your family. That is a very unique way of celebrating the car's birthday.

I do remember the day every year (quite fondly too) that I got my car home (not really its b'day if you think about it) but I don't do anything specific to celebrate that day.

Lovely thread..
Sparky will turn ONE this July. We'll cut a cake and take her out for a drive..
Swifty turns THREE in April. Will get her washed, and cleaned, and watch her gleam and smile !
And the Baby of the family, my Fiat will turn Forty-Eight this May..
Celebrations !
We'll call all her Fiat friends over, and have a long drive - to Lonavala or something ?!?
BTW Arun: Your celebration is truly inspiring !
