WagonR Jblifyed along with pio and the ice sounds sweet and loud!

This WagonR belongs to Ravi@64bhp, he just left town today, the installation was done yesterday and day before, it took two days to complete, me and the boys at HI-9 car decors put in best of our efforts to get this install done in time and ready for him to leave town in the morning today.

this install was 60% DIY(me) and 40% done by the boys at HI-9 car decors of street no:1 Himayath Nagar, this could have been another DIY of mine but only me working on the car would take me at least 5 days to complete the install hence the help.

Here is a list of things that existed before upgrade
.

Pioneer HU 2750 I am right,

Pioneer 4” coaxial speakers

Ultimate brand rear co-axial speakers ( 6”X9” 240W max) on a plywood board.

After the upgrade:

HU: the old pio 2750(if I am not wrong again, with 1 pre-out was replaced) with Pioneer 4050 USB HU.

Front sound stage were a set of JBL GTO 608c, replacing 4" pio coaxials

Amp used is the replacement of our beloved JBL GTO 75.4, its JBL GTO 1004.(4-channel)

Sub is the JBL CS1204 in a custom made very very compact box that would not eat a lot of the wagon's boot!

Rear fills were the ULTIMATE brand speakers 6"X9" 240Wmax previously and currently powered by HU.

The wires used were scosche for the battery wire and efx rcas.

And we damped the car too!!!

we used wurth damping, I would say I did just the basic damping using only 3 sheets of these 22"X10" sheet for each front door, 3.5 sheets for the boot and 1.25 sheet each for the rear doors.

In all we used 12 of these sheets, which is two boxes of the wurth with 6 sheets in each box.

Let Ravi and pics do the talking for the install.

I have the pics of the install during installation and unfortunately the camera's battery died so couldn’t take the pics of the finished install, Ravi will post them later.

The USB cord was installed up front like Blueraven316 showed us in one of his swift installs, thanks for the Idea blue.

And now the pics follow.

here are four more pics of the install i have,

i started this thread on his behalf as he is out of town at the moment, and i am way to excited to wait.

A BIG Thanks to TEAM_BHP for all the knowledge i have acquired here over these two years, that made the install in this car and my swift possible.

And also a BIG Thanks to the HI-9 car decors too for all their help in sourcing the ICE and Installation, the owner's name is Mr.Durgesh, and the boys who help me out were, salman, salim and osmaan.

Ravi was there with me through out the installation and personally saw it get done, i know he is happy with the install, just that i still need some time with this ice for some fine tuning of amp.

thanks noidaboy, the amp used is JBL GTO 1004 with 145W RMS X 4 Channels @ 2 OHMS. or 100W RMS X 4 Channels @ 4 OHMS.

well got a mixed bill and its with ravi so i need to know the break up.

i insisted on NO REAR FILLS but ravi dint want the speakers sitting at home and slowly lose them in his garage i guess, so we just put in the rear fills and the best way to save a good luggage space was the rear door.

Great work Yash. As you know, i would be only interested in two things.

Prices of 608C and GTO 1004? How much? And, how does it sound?

Probably the last answer would be best from Ravi.

After a much dilemma between alloy wheels and ICE, I finally went ahead with ICE, thanks to Yash Raj (rider60) and Raj Sekhar (KK2RK2). I was floored by the quality of sound of audio setup in Yash's Swift. I did not want to constrain myself for low-budjet setup and went ahead with almost the same set-up he had in his swift.

It was a significant upgrade to me regarding the sound and I am enjoying every bit of it. The sound quality is excellent, though some tuning needs to be done. We are going to do that this weekend.

I was not able to take the photos today and will do the same tomorrow afternoon. Thanks so much to Yash. It would not have been possible without him. The effort he put for the set-up is really amazing. Hats off to you dude.cheers:
