Rules to be strictly followed while posting in this section

The following guidelines are to be strictly followed while posting in the Super-Cars & Imports in India!! section :

• Number plates must be blanked out while posting pictures.
  
  
• Pictures taken at a private property must be posted only after obtaining the relevant permission from the owner to take the picture AS WELL AS post it online.
  
  
• Do not.....we repeat.....do not disclose the identity of the owner (or the Registration Number) in any form. No hints to be given either (eg. its owned by a builder / filmstar etc etc). Disclosure of location is fine as long as the location is not a private property (eg. The car is often spotted at Worli Seaface).
  Do not post locations like "The car was spotted in Building 123, Carter Road".
  
  
• If the identity of the owner is already made public by the media (like in the case of some filmstars), then its fine to disclose their identity.
  
  
• Pictures taken at a public event (like Speedrun, Moto-Extreme, Auto Shows) can be posted without blanking the number plates. Disclosing owner identity is also permitted if the same has been dislosed in the event.
  

The above Rules are made to safe guard the interests of the owners and respect their privacy. Anyone violating the above will be warned and repeated offenders will be permanently banned from this community.

Guys, We've been noticing that a lot of the above rules are being violated in the Supercars and Imports forum. Mainly not blanking number plates (or partially blanking out plates) and disclosing owner identity.

• Please ensure that you completely blank out the Registration Number of a car before you post the pic. Just a mere blurring or partial blanking serves no purpose since easy for anyone to put 2 and 2 together.
  
• Please do not disclose the identity of the owner in anyway unless the same has already been made public by the owner or in the media. Lets respect the owners right to privacy.
