Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Infiniti & Ducati dealerships in Mumbai & Delhi? That would make a very lucrative and prestigious business for anybody, and this man literally threw away it all? God!

You missed out Audi. He did not and does not have the Infiniti dealership, they never made it to India.

About half a dozen Infiniti sedans and SUVs were imported though IIRC.
Quite a few are seen around Mumbai roads

There were a few cars imported but not via a dealership, some of those cars are still in the port rotting away. There are just 2 or 3 cars that are in Bombay.

There is only 1 Infiniti which was ever cleared by the dealer, all the others are still at the port. All other Infinitis (i am only aware of the black SUV) apart from that 1 mentioned car, has been bought individually or through another importer. Few Porsches must also be giving company to the Infinitis.

I Guess these are the one you talking about. Had a picture of a Boxster standing behind these, can't find it.

Yes those are the ones i was talking about. What i am very curious about is the kind of charges one has to bear to have these vehicles be standing there for as long. I know its like a per day charge, but not entirely sure of the figure. It will be quite interesting to see when these cars come out and what value are these sold at?

Not to forget the customs duties had not had a bump then, and in terms of todays duties these cars will be a good 20 to 30 lacs more money.

Ah I had no idea that the others were private imports.
I have seen a grey, black, silver and white sedan, a black, greyish and white SUV and a convertible around the city so thought they were sold by the dealer . ( not too sure about the model names , hence not mentioning any )

Have seen a black FX30d in andheri area many times. That could be the one that got cleared.

Also, Saw Mr. Ashish at an automotive mag award last year, his ride was, a White Infiniti M45

I do remember that Samyak. GS has also attended most car launches that happened at the Porsche Centre Mumbai dealership on AC's personal invite. AFAIK interestingly, GS has never even bought a single car from AC.

To me it doesn't look like 'them', it all looks one sided to me.

Ashish Chordia's house & office are being auctioned off by the Punjab National Bank, due to loan defaults.

What a sad story. At one time, he had an enviable umbrella of luxury brands in a growing market. If only he had worked honestly, he'd have been rolling in the moolah.

I wonder how much he owed his customers in the form of deposits, etc! Pretty ridiculous how Ferrari, Porsche etc allowed such crooked business practices to occur in the first place.
