Delhi Spotting:Which BMW sports car is this? (BMW Z3) - Team-BHP

As i was going leasurely at 70kmph in Delhi Mathura Road (near Pragati Maidaan), i spot this BMW sports car zip past me. Boy o boy.. it was F.A.S.T.
Looked a lot like SLK convertible, and was in fact a convertible.

maybe a z3 or a m3 convertible..pics damn distorted.....i remember seeing a white z3 abou two weeks ago in delhi though...

Sorry for the pic quality.

It is indeed the Z3, since my eyes read X3, i searched net and X3 is an SUV. So it must be Z3.

thats a Z3 ..its a silver one ..was this pic taken in south delhi ? i have seen another blue one ...

Z3s came in various engine specs
1.9,2.2 ,2.5,2.8,3.0 ,3.2M

so, depending on the year 2000 Z3 came with

2.5 , 2.8 and 3.2 M engine
the same used to the BMW m3 however the power output was only 315 bhp since they coudlnt fitter a longer exhaust ..somehow i prefer the Z3 Coupe more ..

Yup. You got it right. Even though i tried as hard as i could, but could not catch him. Finally had a glimpse at the Signal.

Yeah Turbo_lover its south Delhi (Mathura Road, near Pragati Maidan turn).. indeed a silver coloured.

I returned on Friday. I spent two weeks there, surprisingly, I didn't spot too many fancy cars, just the odd Cayenne S really. Yet to see the Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Bentleys of Delhi...I'm rather use to them here in London, if I say so myself *blush*
