I was going through Chennai Meetup thread (
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/team-b...-up-dates.html ) and a thought pondered upon me that "Why can't we have such meets ind Delhi/NCR ??"
We have so many tourist spots around Delhi, We can fixup for "Saturday-Sunday" or some "Public holiday-Sunday" Combo so as we don't need to bunk offices, I bilieve as a group effort fooding and lodging arrangements can be made with some phone-calls here & there... So what is stopping us to have such meets? We can start off with once in a quarter atleast.
Any views ??
Good idea. I think some of us should come forward to take the initiative. Plus we can also try for some family meets as once the ladies join in a couple of times the guys wont have much issues convincing them to let them go for such overnighters. We can even start a poll among Delhi members.
Definitely for starting off, we should start off with family meetups at first instance. I am ready to take to the initiative or arranging the stuffs, if anyhow 4-5 members would join in.
I am anytime IN for a family meet, as long as it is held on Saturdays.

69 views and only 3 replies. Ashish I think we need to change the title to something more interesting like the DELHI "WO" MEN MEET or something. Is it the summers that no one is coming forward?

But as far as i have heard no major delicious restaurant is available in Select City Walk. How about a dinner at Pandara road ?? Quite Central and consists plentyfull of delicious options available.
I went there the night before yesterday.
One of the restaurants is being renovated.
The place is loosing its charm though.
Its the company that matters.
I am in for something of this sort. We can try the following places if there are a minimum of 4-5 cars ( families ) invloved.
Jaipur, Kasauli, Musoorrie, Rishikesh etc.
Its only when someone starts or takes the initiative do we see more people pouring in then. Lets see, hopefully we might see more heads/wheels adding in

Well to start-off looks like we already have 4 families with us.
1. Ashthedivx
2. wanderernomad
3. praneet71 (to be informed over phone)

Once this figure crosses atleast 10 families we can have a family to understand each other in a better way !!
Can I tentatively say yes ? But please don't flame me if I can't make it :D
(Actually, me and my wife's office schedule is a bit tight these days)
How about a meal at Havelis ? So that ppl from Chandigarh can also join in !!
