Drive Polaris ATVs at two off-road tracks in Bangalore

Drive Polaris ATVs at two off-road tracks in Bangalore-combo.jpg

Polaris launches two off-road circuits at Bengaluru. The Sarjapur track is in association with Play, while the Yeshwanthpur location is with Target Games.

The Sarjapur off-road track is spread over an area of 30,000 sq feet. 12 Polaris vehicles including the Outlaw 50cc, Sportsman 90cc, RZR 170cc, Phoenix 200cc, Sportsman 400cc and RZR S 800cc would be available for use on the track. It includes mounts, climbs, axle breakers, water pit and a side inclined slope. Polaris claims that the entire experience is "family friendly".

The Yeshwanthpur track offers the off-road experience for families, beginner and novice riders over a 20,000 sq feet area. 5 Polaris ATVs including the Sportsman 90cc, RZR 170cc, Scrambler 500cc, Sportsman 400cc and Sportsman 500cc are available for use. This track has a slush pit, humps, sand and stones, all on a complete dirt terrain.

Polaris plans to increase the number of such tracks to 25 by the year end.

We can definitely try this for our next mega meet.

What say organiser KarthikK?

Looks like a good initiative. I hope the track resembles something like what is shown in the picture, and not just tyre wall boundaries. No website/ prices?

As a co-incidence, that place is on my daily commute route to office . I'll stop by at that place one of these days and enquire about further details. What say we head there once monsoon rains start?

The picture that is displayed in GTO's post seems to be for illustrative purposes only. I know that Sarjapur area like the back of my hand, and I don't recollect any possibility of a hilly region or dense vegetation in those areas, like the scene shown in the picture. It is almost completely flat land near East Bangalore. Of course, it could be an artificially created hill within the facility. Let me visit the place and update this thread one of these days.

P.S - I wish they have a karting track also side by side, for the drifting enthusiasts

Thanks for the info GTO!

I wonder if there are too many ATV enthusiasts in the Bangalore chapter though!

In all probability it is for illustrative purposes only. Am guessing it from LHD configured steering wheel and moreover the same pic has been used in several other ATV related websites across the globe.

To all my BLR people- Contact your HR department colleagues. You have a venue for next team build exercise
I guess if the pricing is kept right it will attract quite a good number enthusiasts.

Re: Drive Polaris ATVs at two off-road tracks in Bangalore

I have driven Polaris Phoenix 200cc ATV at Off road sports, Chennai. I paid 1000 Rs for 3 Laps. One lap is close to a kilometer long. The terrain what we have in Chennai is a sandy one. So I believe the pricing at Bangalore will be similar.

^^ This will be really exciting, the track in Chennai had none of the above.

I have also tried their 'Riding in the woods', its a 10 Km drive. That day I drove Sportsman 400cc and I paid Rs 2500. This was more fun than their track. You get to drive near the beach and in the woods also.

Re: Drive Polaris ATVs at two off-road tracks in Bangalore

The link has been updated with few pics. Although it shows two tracks in bangalore, not sure if both are similar. I have not seen it in person.

From the pictures, the track does not seem very long but they have added artificial obstacles.

Did anybody get a chance to visit and experience the track first hand?

Re: Drive Polaris ATVs at two off-road tracks in Bangalore

After reading this thread, I was exicited and visited the place on 01 May. And was thoroughly disappointed.

Things I didn't like:
They don't have all the vehicles of the ATV range.
The track is really small. They do give you two laps though.
The vehicles were not kept in good condition.
Water level in the slush pit was low, when I enquired about it, they replied that customers dont like to get dirty (understandable)
Obstacles were very basic and not worthy to be labeled offroading.

Things I liked:
Basics are in place i.e. protection gear like helmets and chest pads. Vehicle briefing is done thoroughly.

I drove the expensive two seater version. The vehicle was not in good condition and the pedals were really hard. I understand the space constraints an all, but they really need to work on the track.

However, all is not lost, they have the best skating pond, I have seen in Bangalore. They also have Archery, BasketBall court, Football court, Climbing Wall etc. It is not a bad way to spend your day on the weekend, just dont expect more.
