0815-0900 – Driver's Briefing
0915-1000 - Vehicle Scrutiny
1000-1100 - Drive to Prologue SS
1700-1800 - Drive Back to Camp.

16Aug2013 Day#2
0600-0630 – Breakfast
0700-0900- Drive to competitive SS
0930-1600 – Day#1 Competition
1630-1830 – Drive to Camp
1900-2000 – Scoring
2030-2130 – Dinner

17Aug2013 Day#3
0630-0700 – Breakfast
0700-0900- Drive to competitive SS
0930-1600 – Day#1 Competition
1630-1800 – ISSC
1800-1900 – Drive to Camp
1930-2030 – Scoring

Last date for registering & payment of registration fees is 01August 2013

Thanks much for the headsup on Palar Challenge. Would request you to mention any specific pointers regarding Vehicle health/condition or pre-requisites for participating?
Ex - AT/MT tires,accessories to carry, must have and good to have stuff's.

Arka, wish you, the O-team/Marshals & participants all the best for this premier off-road event. Unfortunately, due to other planned commitments on same dates, will not be able to take part this year.

Any planned change in format this year/location or will it be the same as last few years?

We few poor souls from Poona who can not drive their Jeeps to Chennai are planning to attend this event as spectators.
Wanted to know whether entry fees and other terms and conditions are same for spectators. or do we need to make our own arrangement for stay etc...

The 3 Days of TPC2013 will cover around 80-100kms OFF-ROAD.

So we don't make provision for spectators, because we will have to carry them around, and they will not be comfortable.

Aravali Offroad Adventures presents the Northern India selections for INDIA'S Toughest 4X4 Off-Road Competition - The Palar Challenge (TPC2013) on 21st July 2013.

Dates: -
20th July 2013 – Reporting & Scrutiny
21st July 2013 – Selection event

Entries:-
1) Each club can field a maximum of 5 teams.
2) Maximum of 3 vehicles per team
3) Maximum 2 Competitors per vehicle.
4) Maximum 6 competitors per team.
5) Minimum 1 Winch equipped vehicle per team.
6) Roll cage and Seat Belts are strictly mandatory for every vehicle.
7) Individual entries can also participate.


Entry Fee:-

1) Till July 17th 2013, Early Bird entries : Rs 4000/- per vehicle
2) From 18th July to 20th July 2013, Late entries : Rs 5000/- per vehicle
3) On Spot registrations : Rs 5500/- per vehicle

Prize: -Winning Team:

Sponsorship to India’s toughest offroad challenge: The Palar Challenge 2013.

Sponsorship will include.
1) Transportation Cost of THREE Vehicles to Chennai & Back
2) Entry Fee to TPC 2013 for Maximum of SIX Competitors per Team.

Hey Arka,
Nice to see the entries double compare to that of 2012TPC.
My one suggestion is to give the Competitive SS's the recognition it deserves. If Prologue-SS and Technical-SS has a separate prize then you must categorize the Competitive-SS's also for a prize. You know there is more skill, effort and hard work goes into the Competitive-SS's. That's just my point of view.
Looking forward to this event and meeting the Stalwarts of the Indian 4X4 scenario.
