Great pics devang. Looks like the off roaders had great fun.

In some pics, the vehicles are trapped in very difficult situations. How was the overall experience on the track? Was it too difficult? Did the Safari face any dents, since it appears to be struggling to cross some obstacles?

That's some extreme Off roading pdev29 ! All the jeeps look awesome , but is it just me or does the Safari look out of place in front of the others ?? I mean , its not a proper SUV . Not so much GC as a Gypsy , and that's highlighted in that pic where the rear touches the rock . But that's just IMO .

Made use of Rock Sliders for the first time.

it was a short trail, rocky terrain and technical. Safari did one obstacle only where it scraped the rear bumper. After that safari owner joined different group for a trail drive because we continued further which wouldnt have possible for a safari to clear without damages.

Looking great there dude... njoy the longer version of offroading. PS, if you want to save those expensive tyres get a mini-body-lift like my AG and you wont be shredding the rubber in your front fenders.

Sagar will have to change the wheels first. as of now he is using 7.5 or 8J but he will need 10J -ve offset or spacers.

@ Andy,

We will be doing OTR's during the season. As of now one big event is getting planned for a drive to Ladakh. (Only SUV's) other than this nothing decided about the Annual event.

I will keep you posted if we decide anything on this.

Looks ike you guys had a good time. Never been to Lonavala area but I know its very scenic. Would love to ride with you all some time. I have done a road trip ( business ) from Pune to Kolhapur, another one Pune to Sanghli, but no off road trip at all.

For this kind of rock & boulders terrain, rear LSD would be a great option, along with a 2 inch lift, rock sliders of course and bash plates.

I would love to see some CJ3B, WIllys MB, Ford GPW and CJ3A take on this terrain, particularly CJ3B and the other CJ3B classic clones, this is ideal terrain for them.

How did the MM 550 / 540 in the pictures perform ?

And the Thar ? Did it break something, was relegated to the easier option , what happened ?

Is your club / off road group called Extreme Offroaders ?

Slightly off topic question. How does a Scorpio 4x4 perform in such terrains? I know it can't offroad as those rugged jeeps do, but in general how does it behave?
