Hi folks,

Vibrancy in offroading spirit is overwhelming across the country. We have seen and participated in competitive Offroad events in all geographies of the country- India. Hither to Bangalore Offroaders were organizing offroading event of non-competing nature. We now feel that, Bangalore can offer best challenge for offroaders and have launched here its Maiden Offroad Challenge Event.

 Date of Challenge Event - 26th October 2013 - Day event
 Minimum and Maximum participants per vehicle - 2 persons
 Participation fees per vehicle with 2 persons - Rs. 5,000
 Participants to arrange for their accommodations on their own. ( We may assist them with list of Hotels nearby on a case to case basis)
 Last date for registration – 15th October 2013
 Participation fees include Breakfast, Lunch and high tea.

Terms and conditions :

 Only functional 4 WD vehicles will be allowed for the event
 Participants must choose their partners / spotters carefully to tackle performance issues
 Partners/ spotters need have presence of mind and skill as this terrain calls for careful and experienced spotting/guidance
 Recovery equipments such as Tow Rope, D Shackles and Hook link for vehicle are strictly mandatory
 Roll cage desirable but not mandatory
 HiLift Jack and Winches are desirable to have on vehicle
 Strictly no alcohol or intoxicants while participating in the event
 Carry consumables, water for radiator and necessary tools

What is the Reward:

1st , 2nd and 3rd winners will be awarded Prizes they deserve
Best Individual Performers will be rewarded accordingly.

This is to inform all who wish to participate in First ever Offroad Challenge of Bangalore _BODA that the participation fee is slashed from Rs. 2,500 person and Rs. 5,000 per vehicle of Two participants to as mentioned below;

Revised Participation fees - Per person Rs. 1,500
Per Vehicle Rs. 3,000 with minimum 2 persons.

Extra person accompanying will have to pay Rs. 750 per person

Participation fees includes - Breakfast, Lunch and snacks.

Dwaraka Sir - Is this event the same as the one mentioned on the BODA facebook page with the heading "Bangalore Off-Roaders Jamboree"?

The purpose of the event is to have a safe & nice off-road day out with fun & competition in a friendly environment at the outskirts of Bangalore.
Keeping the above in mind, the rules for participation are given below. (NOTE: these rules are by no means exhaustive & all decisions of the event Marshalls will be binding on the participants)
• All participants shall sign the Disclaimer and Liability Form prior to participating.
• The Marshalls shall be the only officials to have authority to issue penalties, awards, reprimands, or disqualifications.
• Marshalls assumes no responsibility for delays, cancellations, or modifications of all or part of any event for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather or course conditions.
• All participants are required to have sufficient health and liability insurance that covers any activity that may take place during an event. Registration completion is the participant’s acknowledgement and acceptance of this requirement.
• Participants must ensure that they have all the legal work/papers of their vehicle in place. This includes Driving license, RC, Insurance, Emission Check etc.
• Participants shall not move or alter any course markers. If during the event course markings are removed or broken by participants (pulling off course for vehicle repairs, etc.), the participant is required to replace the damaged, broken, or removed course markings BEFORE proceeding ahead.
• Each competing vehicle is required to pass a technical inspection by Marshalls. Desirable to have roll cage. If not then:
o Open top vehicles without B-Pillar will NOT be allowed to participate in stages that Marshalls deem risky.
o Marshalls will have the right to stop a vehicle to take part in the event (or a stage) for safety reasons
• The primary scoring method shall be the official time.

Please note that the Assembly venue for the Bangalore Offroad Jambori on 26th Oct 2013 will be at Nice Road-Kanakapura Road Junction at 7.30 a.m. The last convoy will leave the assembly point at 8.15 a.m..

Please ensure that your vehicle is ready with all necessary recovery tools and spares.

Wow great event to take part. But this time also I am not able to particiapte as my 4X4 is in my Native and my current Scorpio is not 4X4. Sir, please keep me posted if any similar event comes up in Bangalore during November or December so that i can get my Willys to Bangalore.
