Dune Drive in Dubai

Hello All,

Decided to do a bit of off-roading after a gap of about 9 years. Joined up with one of the off-roading groups - Emarat 4x4. Did the first "newbie drive" today.

Drive was just off Dubai in the "Pink Rock" Area & the "Red Dune" Area

Didn't try anything too hard as I am currently driving a 3 ltr Pajero LWB. But managed to finish the route without getting stuck. The jeep guys in the group had a lot of dune play though.

Few pictures I managed (with my Sony ps) are here.

Hop you enjoy this

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

Ram

Yes some of the machines were really mean not in looks only but also in performance. My Pajero was looking like a pregnant hippopotamus in all.

I was running on 14 psi

The thumb rule as you may know is to let off 50% air. I normally run with 28 psi.

Almost all the Wranglers in the group were having some modification or the other. Most of them were on wider/higher tyres as well.

There are few more pictures which I will put up soon

Best Regards and Drive/Ride Safe

Ram
