An independence day OTR is planned this sunday at Lonavla. We have found a new trail which i would classify as moderate (although if it rains, it would get bad). Thus it'll be a fun OTR, with scenic drives and obstacles thrown in between.

Participation will be limited to 20 cars only.

The extreme offroaders have also decided to donate old clothes, shoes, medicines, etc to locals. Participants are urged to carry such along. Please do not get torn or dirty clothes/shoes.

What about having lunch in the middle of the trail?

Let's pick up food in the morning. It's an awesome place to relax. The locals have agreed to make tea for us.

Meeting point (Bombay): 7:00am McDonalds Panvel

Pune guys: Please decide where you'll will meet

Final meeting point: 8:30am Lonavla (on the Amby valley road where there is a bridge just after Cream Center. Before McMathew's Shack). It's a wide road so we'll get to park.

Being a sunday, the rush on that road will be maddening due to picnickers at bushy dam. So guys please come on time.

Guys, no loud music, no littering, and strictly no donuts on the fields please. Carry insect repellant. Carry recovery gear.

Trails looks great, especially after the rains. Looks like a Winch-ed Vehicle would be good to tag along.

Guys this trail is good and has lot more places to explore.

Request you all to be on time so we can try and cover more.

and if it rains then this one is going be really difficult.

Think of anything else that we can give other than clothes, shoes, medicines. Avoid packaged food like biscuits, etc.. they'll just sell it off.
