Hey 4x4 off road lovers and those having SUV's a new event for you to enjoy. Check this out 4 Guna 4

A series of obstacles to test your understanding of 4x4 driving. Each obstacle to also have escape. Points based course.

On Sunday 24th October 2010 at Gurgaon - Delhi NCR

Is this event only for SUV's or jeeps to?
and sir what would be the terrain like?

I am asking these questions so as to decide what vehicle to bring along. CJ3B or the TLC.

@Harjeev - Bring both ;-)

The terrain is not daunting at all. It is series of challenges that are to be over come. Each challenge is rated and accumulated ratings get to decide the winners.

SUV's, Jeeps, TLC (Tender Loving Care - Toyota knows how to choose names) all are welcome. It is driver and his understanding of his vehicle that would be put to test.

Sudev sir, I would have brought both, but there no one to drive the jeep as my brother doesn't like to attend OTR's but I guess this should be different so I'll try getting him along.
After my absence from the first 3 SUV trailblazing events, I am eagerly waiting to attend this one.

Nice name (4 guna 4)

I loved the way Germans call 4WD vehicles - Vier mal Vier (pronounced as Fear-mal-fear), this Indian version is also cool.

Looks like a nice event, but with a 4000rs entry fee, a little too expensive. I wish more events with less steep entry hurdles are organized!

Tanveer major portion of entry fee will go towards expenses for permissions, marshals and creating the hurdles in the spectator area. If we get higher number of regular participants then this could be brought down or a sponsor who can pick the tab. Hope to get one next time.

I really hope to see some SUV people to test their vehicles on the obstacles.

Wish i could take part in this event too but sadly im getting my gypsy on monday and would start rebuilding it from there on. Would be an active participant once i'm done with the rebuild.
