One more long distance entry from my side. Guess it is time to bring my CJ340 to Bangalore again, this time for offroading. So, I am in.

This trail is demanding on LWB and wide body vehicles (SUV's), if you dont mind a few dinks/dents and slightly bent number plates and few scratches on the doors/body then you can join.

You 2nd question wasnt clear, 2000 is per person (driver or passenger), if you want to bring a friend then it is 2+2 - 4K.

Suresh,

You are welcome to bring safari 4 WD. However, please make sure the side footboard is removed which is hinders movement in OTR.

Participation fees is per person , not for the vehicle. Hence, If you have company of another person, then the fees has to be additional

Hope you got it.

Dwarak

A separate tent for women and children can be looked into. Will let you know shortly.

However, if you intend to stay in a igloo tent, we can arrange for on request.

@SPEEDY_RACER: If you are not bothered about body and other cosmetics damage its ok, otherwise do jump in as a passenger. Much lighter on the heart and wallet.

Re: Bangalore Annual OTR Jan' 2011

@Speedy Racer: Honest suggestion: please don't get your safari to this OTR. The route this time would be more tough than last year.

Do hook up with someone here and join in.

Khan you made my post breakfast browsing schedule!!

Personal request, please include the crazy steep incline + boulder entry/exit spot which was attempted this last oct visit. Many missed it or were discouraged due to lack of time and failing sun light...

Santosh, You still remember the trail which played villain for your vehicle and scorpio. This trail can't be done with 50 vehicles. Max of 10 vehicles is ideal number in this trail.

But, will definitely not disappoint any offroader on trail quality.
