A few changes to the Recce Details

i) Competitors will not be allowed to join the O-Team for the recce/s.

ii) If Outstations Team want to do a recce they can coordinate with the Chennai Teams.

iii) Any person who participates even in one recce will not be allowed to compete in TPC2011.

Was completed successfully.

We [EX670C, Headers and Blue_Thunder] set out on the recce on 08.05 as scheduled.

Covered 22 kms from ECR Road side amd checked a few spots. The River was swollen in certain parts and we had water..well water crossings :D and lots of birds..of varying colors. I was infact surprised to see so many at Palar. We checked the road entries as well and after 3 hours of exploring the area, we headed to AZ thereafter and called it a day.

The next recce is scheduled on May 22, 2011. :thumbs up

Hi Guys,

We completed Recce#2 on 22-05-2011, Maj.Roy, Vikram R & Ganesh joined up.

Covered 13+kms on the riverbed and checked out possible entry/exit points.

The sand quarrying has created a variety of obstacles in the region.

It was refreshing to see water flowing at Palar. Lots of sightings, lots of birds, lots of sand, lots of water.
