What is this on the CJ5

Team can somebody educate us on what this thing is highlighted in the below picture of CJ5 Kaiser Jeep.

24V Electrical Socket/Outlet and this is a M38A1, the CJ5 was the Civilian version of the M38A1.

Thanks Arka, That was very quick - By the way this jeep is up for sale in MH - Checked & was disappointed with the Price Quoted - 8 Lakhs :-(
