Bonnet Scoop for Ford Endeavour

Keeping aside the fact that I always wanted my SUV to have a Bonnet Scoop, but my question is whether the Ford Endy really requires a bonnet scoop to ensure optimal (or superior) engine performance on a long harsh drive?
