ATVs are not road legal hence its not possible to register any where in India.

Polaris has launched the Ranger RZR XP 900 side-by-side off-road vehicle in India.

The RZR XP 900 houses a four-stroke, 875cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with an automatic transmission, and generates maximum power of 60bhp, transferred by shaft to all four wheels.
Polaris is presently offering the RZR XP 900 for a price tag of Rs 19.36 lakh.

It is good to know that there is a segment for off roading in india but I was surprised to see one Polaris outlet opened at Lucknow and closed within a year or so. now only their bill board stand out. Instead of pushing sale of these vehicles, first they should built some landmark for off roading for people around the city, inject some curiosity and enthusiasm and then sale might come on it own. What a city folk will do with these 100% limited off roading vehicles on tarmac
For this we do have a option to go for any jeep which will serve both the purpose
