Where to source Mahindra Classic Jeep spare parts?

Dear all,

Adrianus here, living in Malaysia, owning a 1999 green Mahindra Classic Jeep.
This post is about maintaining my Jeep here in Malaysia and access to spare parts.
I used to have a local contact here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who had access to Mahindra spare parts and was able to perform repairs and maintenance on my Jeep.
This contact is no longer available and therefore I need to find an alternative to keep my Jeep going.

Finding a competent and reliable Mechanic is not a problem here in Malaysia.

The issue is: "Where to get (original) Mahindra Classic Jeep spare parts?"

When I was living in Bangalore, some 10 years ago (same Jeep), I got my spare parts from G.R. Traders (No. 33, 2nd Floor, 2nd Cross, S.G.N. Layout, Lalbagh Road Cross, Bangalore - 560 027). I have sent a couple of Whatsapp messages to +919845553148 without receiving a response, possibly the company does not exist anymore.

For me (I am not a Mechanic) it should be a contact with a knowledgeable technical person, not an anonymous WEB shop. I need to be able to explain my Jeep problem in order for the spare parts supplier to be able to identify the parts required.

For instance there is this current issue, the gearbox is leaking oil. So I could make a picture of the gearbox and maybe even find some text or number on it and then the supplier should be able to identify the required gasket or whatever else is needed to rectify the leaking problem.
Whatsapp or E-mail contact would be fine.
Then the parts would be sent to my place in Malaysia and I would get things fixed here at a local workshop. already identified.

Can anyone recommend a reliable Mahindra Classic Jeep spare parts source?

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards, Adrianus

Re: Where to source Mahindra Classic Jeep spare parts?

Sitting right here in Bombay and being a part of the auto industry, I still encounter some work when sourcing spare parts, so it will be quite a task for you. Building construction work recently led to the LHS tail-light of my Jeep being broken. It took like a week to source it! Because the vehicle has been out of production for over 2 decades, expect to make a lot of calls. My sources:

- Shetty Motors (Spare parts : Shetty Motors (Opera House, Mumbai))

- Sunil Shanbagh (Select Auto Garage - Sunil Shanbhag (Dadar, Mumbai)) - This might be a contact more for Mumbai folk as he runs a garage primarily, and would prefer to do the labour work himself.

- Ferdi - 9820120556. My go-to Jeep guy, but again, he runs a garage and thus will cater primarily to Jeep owners who send the vehicle to him.

- If all else fails, jugaad! A few parts of my Jeep have been custom fabricated as they weren't available in the after-market.

- Don't know if you have a Mahindra dealer in Malaysia, but you can beg & plead for them to use their contacts with Mahindra HQ.

Thank you "Tejas@perioimpl" for your swift response.
Would you have a Mobile number and/or E-mail address for "Atlas Motors at Opera House, Mumbai"?

Thank you "GTO" for the contacts.

Thank you also for this suggestion:
"Don't know if you have a Mahindra dealer in Malaysia, but you can beg & plead for them to use their contacts with Mahindra HQ."

Will follow up on that.

Thank you and regards,
Adrianus

Rajasthan Auto Distributors are exclusive distributors for all Mahindra vehicle parts in North India, and don't disappoint about procuring any spare or accessory for almost any Mahindra vehicle, even if out of production.

They are located at:
Maharana Pratap, Metro Station Kashmere Gate, Inter State Bus Terminal, Kashmere Gate, Delhi, 110006
and their phone number is +91-11-2392-2743.
