Offroaders! Any 4x4 Regrets?

I regret just one thing: lying my pants off about getting stuck in sand.

And learning lessons late. That makes it two regrets.

1947 Dodge Power Wagon. One of the first publicly available 4X4s. These are now priceless. Is the restoration/modification of these old trucks conspicuous consumption or preservation of an art form? Since I am unlikely to ever shepherd enough rupees together to EVER buy/restore one, I don't have to worry about having regrets or second thoughts. Pretty vehicles.

DirtyDan, agreed. Those old Power Wagons are really cool. The pity is though that when they're restored, no one really takes them offroading anymore.

My regret? Not getting onto the 4x4 bandwagon earlier.
Got my first 4x4, the new Thar, earlier this year and enjoying every bit of it.

My Regret was selling off a brand new 4x4 Major in 2011 and Proud moment is getting similar one back in 2020.
