So true! Seems like a mix of the two. Nothing to beat the previous design of the Pajero.
And the interiors are 70% similar to the ones on the Lancer.

Just dont like Mitsu's grill design with this one. Ishaan you are spot on with how the front has come out like.
The Montero and Outlander look butch this one looks copied from Renault(grill). And its too roundy.

This kills the Macho look of the Indian Pajero. Thumbs down to this one!

guys this PajeroSport is not a replacement for Pajero (Montero in India) world wide. its just a notch below the existing Pajero/Montero.

current Pajero in india is outdated model sold to fool us indians.

Current Montero in india is the current pajero worldwide except usa and europe.

Pajero means wanker in spanish, thats why the other name Montero to sell it in usa and Shogun in europe!

whats this with naming one product with three different names, something wrong with MMC!

We get the Single & Double Cab version with the new body and an old 4D56 engine. It is called the L200. The double cab is known as the Sportero.

Picture shows a body lift and winch bumper, to accomodate bigger tires.

Apologize, forgot to post the picture. It should come throgh this time

Parm:
'Montero' sold in the US is sold as 'Nativa' in the Gulf.

Is the Pajero sold in India as Montero? - that should be strange !

This is the outgoing model Mitsubishi Motors Europe with the wiki page at Mitsubishi Challenger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The incoming model, viewed / posted by Parm, is Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (Challenger) official details - MotorAuthority - Car news, reviews, spy shots with the wiki page at Mitsubishi Montero Sport - Wikicars

In the ASEAN region (and in India, hopefully), Africa and Middle East, this will take on the Fortuner. Like Fortuner, it's built on the current Mitsu pickup platform. Unlike the Fortuner, it'll go to many more markets (Latin America, CIS, Europe).

Just for completing the picture, the real Pajero story is here Mitsubishi Pajero - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cheers,

i agree with parm; the pajero and the lancer sold in india is way too old models and discontinued; whereas montero and the cedia (i guess the spell is correct) are the current models sold outside india.

this pajero sport looks like its built on the L200 pickup platform .. also this ride debut in dakar 2009 and i guess they stood 7th overall.

The Pajero Sport’s primary markets will be Russia, South-East Asia, the Middle East and South America. In Australia and Latin America the vehicle will be called the Challenger, while in South America it will carry a Montero Sport badge. Surprisingly, Mitsubishi has decided not to sell its new SUV in Central & Western Europe or in North America, maybe because L200 is already sold there!!!

Also, it is not nativa, thats a totally different thing..
