Bangalore - Need help restoring 1989 Range Rover

hi all my uncle who owns a couple of classic cars and jeeps needs help restoring his 1989 range rover tp in blore
the car is currently in mysore

That is a lot older than 1989. It is pre 1980

Yep! It's a pre 1980 Range Rover - probably 1978 or so. Look at the grill and bumper.

yep my bad.. i mistook the toyota for the rover
its a 1970 model

And a 2 door at that! Going to take a lot of $$$ and time to get her back into shape. Unless there are emotions attached, is it worth it?

My dad's cousin too has a similar RR but it too will go for restoration in a month of so. Will keep you posted on the same.

not sure of the exact model however its an old one
the low bonnet is original in all aspects (in perfect running conditions but gives only 2-3 mileage)and has also got the original engine petrol.
the other willy s (non low bonnet) is a restored one and has a Peugeot diesel engine.

@gto: well he got the car in the sme conditon for peanuts.
well i think he wont mind spending the money if the car gets back the road.
btw its a turbo petrol

The low bonnet is a CJ2A and the other JEEP is the LHD Willys CJ3B as you said.
