The best part,.. he has achieved it at 1/4th the cost.

2> The alloys really do compliment and highlight what would otherwise be a standard paint job IMO .
3> The very minor tilt could be attributed to the slope of the ground,and the fact that most of us have to regularly get off the road thus putting more stress on the left hand side suspension.Nothing to take away from the effort to get the jeep in shape.

How is that? Even if we go by your logic it shouldn't be so, after the moping and suspension job is done, this seems to be a jeep that has hardly done any mileage after restoration. Right?

There are many guys on this forum who know what caused the tilt. IF THERE IS ONE ACTUALLY.

Now now, who is taking away anything from the jeep by pointing out something that can be improved upon? like the tilt. Alloys or not, is the owners choice, all are free to give their opinion in a positve spirit that we T-BHPians share.

My comment was on the concept not on looks.

1. The olive matt job simply blows everything else away.
2. Subdued decals. The fact that it does not have an 'US' lettering on it improves it further. We should be proud of it.
3. Very good soft top. Matches the entire paint job.

Dislikes -
1. The alloys do look nice, but look like 15". Makes them look small.
2. The Apollo tyres don't look purposeful enough although they are AT.
3. The interior roof paneling does not gel with the exteriors.

Just my opinion though. In all, a very nice job.

hi mr.khan,i guess the cost of the replicated snorkel(from safari snorkel) should be roughly around 5k+,it uses the stock air filter but other options can be considered on order,i have seen the first product while on an otr we did together in hisar,if you want a pic of the snorkel then pm me you email and i will send you the reference images with raj kapoor's number.He does a brilliant job and has fabricated real sweet bumpers(arb replicas) for gypsy and 540.

Sachin does not have access to computer at work and his home Internet is down. So he has barely seen this thread, may be just a glance from a cyber center.

However, he has been using this Jeep as his primary ride for a few days down. Wherever he goes, he gets looks from everybody. Numerous students from Manipal have made enquiries, tourists visiting Udupi/Malpe have stopped and taken photographs posing in front of it. Most people think is as a proper military vehicle bought in army auction.:) They are not willing to believe it otherwise.

Let's hope Sachin gets some time to check out this thread soon.
