EDIT 2:
body looks a little sagged in the middle to me.

The Jeep looks fit for a hollywood war movie :)

What's that cable/wiring behind front bumper?
Can we have pix of interiors and with soft top off?

And time and money spend approx.

I will pics on the interiors and will PM you on the costs

The MM540 looks awesome, do post some interior pics.

Also your MM fits the bill for the dadagiri status.

I guess those are the tubes from the power steering pump.

Looking forward to see the seating and roof configs/photographs.
The Jeep looks spot-on!!
It must have taken a lot of persistence and love to get an MM540 to look this hot.
Congratulations.

Wow!!
Clean and subtle mods. Easily one of the best looking MM540s around.
Is the jeep registered in Bangalore? Did you face any trouble with the military green paint job during FC/reg?

Now, that should have costed you a bomb.

Hi Vijay,

Your Jeep looks Kick ***! :thumbs up Could you please post more pictures of the beast?

Spike

PS- Please change the horn position.

Vijay,

HQ1, is a very nice build. All the upgrades are most practical and well executed. Modern in creature comforts and killer in looks with an innovative roof hatch.

Good proportions, colour, finish and all. The wide stance is so beautifully pronounced and gives it a solid beefy look.

Snorkel head is out of proportion and looks large, can do something about it and also the tyres, if you can get 16" or whatever, these look small for the wide stance, big 540 body.

Lastly, get a 6 foot army antenna on it.

Great job, your effort and passion shows on every inch.
Regards,

Simply :
:Cheering:I want to have such a jeep !!!
Frankly :
I want to have it, come whatever may ? Where is your parking spot ?lol:

Awesome 540 man !!
Love the color , the snorkel should be reworked IMO, rest is sexy .
Vijay could you please lets us know which alloys are those ?

cheers !

Fantastic, looks amazing.

Is your RHS wheel a bit more out than the LHS?

+1 to what spikey said, the horns don't look good there.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions

1-I will rework the snorkel...just add the safari snorkel I guess...

2. The RHS & LHS tyres are equi-distant in protrusion. Its the sunlight that's creating the illusion

3. I will be re-locating the horns on Monday...today being a bund

4. I have a 6 foot army antenna with a working base. The antenna can be folded or bent when necessary.Just need to fix it.

5.I will post pics soon on the interiors as well.Hopefully by EOD

6.The driver cabin is a hardtop and the rest is a soft top.I have used a very heavy hatch as I sometimes sit on it.

7.I had initially put in 16 inch alloys but had a lot of issues in the jungle as the tyres used to hit the mudguard flares during articulation.I have changed 3 sets of mudguard flares.Hence the 15 inch and I have had no issues.I even tried a longer shackle but trust me the ride quality is very poor.So back to basics 15" and the regular shackles.

8.Yes FC is an issue due to the colour.I have pulled a few strings to get it done and its an expensive proposition considering the normal cost

9.Like I mentioned earlier...There are a few more accessories I need to fit on (practical ones). My tinker is a bit busy.

Fantastic looking Jeep! After reading the specifications, have to say very impressive mechanicals too. I am going olive green with envy.:)

What is that square thing on the roof above the passenger seat?
